For a few reasons. One, I have a set of Iron heads(virgin 4v cc) that will require a few thousand dollars to make them fast...and they're still iron and heavy(of which I have a set on my engine now). Two, I can also get a combustion chamber that will make more compression as I'm about maxed out on piston design with the stock ford chambers. Three, I will shed approx. 80 lbs of dead weight.
Four, better runner designs...etc..etc..
Now the big 'ol can 'o worms..
Which ones? CHI's? AFD's ...no, I will absoulutly NOT order pro-comps or any other $%#*ing knock-offs. What are some of you guys using that are going fast? What Chamber are you using for a non-power adder engine? I'll be using a Parker "funnelweb"...
