Response to A lot of oil in valve covers

Couple questions, how much oil pressure is it holding when warmed up both at idle and when reved up. What weight oil is the break-in oil? You do know that the the break-in oil really wasn't needed with a solid roller, made more for flat tappets. Seems to me if the problem is lifter bore wear or undersize diameter lifters the top of the motor wouldn't be getting flooded with oil it would be leaking around the lifters, path of least resistance. Seems more of a problem with a lifter not designed to work with the clevelands oil galley design, either the holes are in the wrong place or they are too large. Now I'm sure the lifter bore bushings installed would let you use your exsisting lifters, because of there small oil feed hole, but I'm thinking you don't want to tear down your new engine.
There are plenty of us running solid rollers with out the lifter bore bushings and never having problems, just need a lifter with one small oil hole facing the opposite way of the oil galley.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the lifter bore bushings, I think they're a great addition but aren't always needed.
