Response to Re:CHI

The continued HP gains were as a result of tuning (amount of timing, how it came in, and correcting the fueling strategy).  I never did get to switch to E85.  Intended to, but then ended up having a bunch of business travel that interrupted trying to convert over to it.  Now, with it running so good, I'm somewhat tempted not to go to it right away.

I did try to change to 40# injectors but did go back to my 48# injectors.  The 80 hp was a true gain.  I have runs last year that were at 420hp, and this year at just over 500hp.

Wasn't exactly sure of my CR, so I ended up calling the engine builder.  His assistant didn't write it on the build sheet like normal.  He knows the old engine CR, and he knows the gasket crush and such.  When I told him the psi from my compression check, first he thought that the CR might be higher than he originally thought.  But then when we talked later, he said that it couldn't be that high after he checked some of the notes.  He figures it's actually between 11.0 and 11.3, so I'm guessing right now on the low side because I think I should be at 525 rear wheel HP if I was at 11.2 or 11.3 CR.

Hope that helps.
