Thanks for posting the pics here, Blizz.
I'm going to be out of town for Easter weekend, but one of the things I want to do when I get back is to compare this Box R intake to a standard 5.0 Fox Mustang intake. It's a lot taller - no doubt! I'm almost more worried about the throttle body and the tube to the MAF sensor than just the top of the intake. A big scoop at the center of the hood will look ok, but if the tube going to the MAF interferes with the hood I might just have to run without a hood. All of that stuff is going to be pretty high.
My Cobra intake rubs on my Fox Mustang hood already. I think it was partially due to weak stock motor mounts, but there's not much clearance.
Trick Flow also has an upper that folds over like the Ford 5.0 intakes. That one will give more hood clearance. I decided against it because it only has a 70 mm throttle body opening. That's pretty small for a 351 or larger IMO. Ford put a 90 mm on the new 5.0 Coyote motor.
I will quick throw a tape measure on it tonight and post the overall height.
