The Aussie 2V heads he runs are not the CHI 2V aluminum but rather ported iron
closed chamber 2V's. They have a good exhaust port but the intake short side
radius is not so good. We've dyno tested ported Aussie 2V's on a 393C and if
you're looking for 500 HP, there are better choices.

Not a chance. It is much taller than a Performer and will not fit under a
stock engine screen. We've tested the Edelbrock Air Gap 2V intake on 351C,
393C and 408C engines with 2V and 4V heads. The Air Gap 2V intake is a good
intake on the right combination but there are certain combinations where it
is beat by the 2V single plane intakes.
