Ok, I'm going to quit whining about dollars. I have already got in motion a sale of one of my guitars and the cash will be here soon. Priority's right? If I'm going to do this I need to consider all options. Dan, that first combo sounds like what I'm interested in (500 HP). So let's talk about longevity.. because Larry assures me that these strokers have issues... BUT in the same sentence says "your the guy who knows 351C" With a MSD 6500 chip managing my RPM's from going higher, and hitting some of the back roads here pretty hard, what kind of longevity have you seen with similar drivers with strokers? I'm not going to track it except maybe at the POCA event and my entire cooling system is new.
Has anyone used one or know about the quality of these DSS kits? As far as cam wear and oil... I have been using Mobile Synthetic 15-50W on Larry's recommendation. I'll head over to their web-site and see what they have in the way of content of ZDDP.
