I tried a .010 wire in the IFRs. Engine would not run, took the wires out. I reset the idle screws to uncover .023-.025 of the transfer slots. When I did this I noticed that the transfer slots are not exactly the same length. The driver side primary and the passenger side secondary are about .004 longer than the other two. Put it back on the engine, idle is down to about 950 RPM in gear and vacuum dropped to 7 in./hg. Now I'm close to the PV opening point( 6.5) although the mixture volume screws still have effect. I'm considering putting 3.5 or 4.5 PVs in to make sure they are closed at idle. As someone suggested, it may be time to drill the holes in the throttle blades. Thanks, Chuck
