Don't be surprised if you have to break down and buy the FRPP 9 way chain set. I have not had good luck with the 3 ways on my 351Cs - just not enough adjustment. 2 degrees out one way or the other is not the end of the world - unless you're anal about it, which I tend to be. Without other input, just install the cam to the mfgs recommended settings - "straight up" as they say. It may take you a little bit of work, but you'll get it and it'll be 100% worth the effort.
Also - once you get that set, use your degree wheel to find the real TDC then verify your balancer mark and timing pointer position. You may find it off as much as 2-4 degrees. If it is, just clean the balancer real well, shoot it with a little Krylon 1613 semi-flat black, install a Moroso timing tape lined up on the right marks, then spray the balancer edge and tape with a couple coats of clear. It'll look good, be easy t read and last a good long time.
