That Crane cam sells for $253....I can do a custom grind Comp for $200 and there are off the shelf Comp grinds for around $130. Shoot, I can do a custom solid roller for just $320. I don't know why Crane jacks their prices up so high, but for that price, I'd want it to check my oil for me.
I would also wait until you get everything else finalized...the pistons, etc. Everything has to work together as a package, especially if you want to drive it on the street.
