Sorry, I should probably keep my mouth shut a little more, Dan. The HEI dizzys work great and there's nothing wrong with v belts. I just have my own biases about parts and what I like and don't. Chevy has made great motors and great designs. I think I have a bit of a neurosis where it comes to having any Chevy part in my Ford. Really there's no reason not to use what works and is inexpensive.
