New (poster anyway) guy here.
Interested in comments on the build as it stands and possible gotcha's. Been a long time Cleveland fan, the block is out of the '70 HT Cougar I worked on and drove when I was 17! (almost 53 now).
Anyway, fine tuning underway, first thing (believe it or not) is a bad primary metering block out of the box on a brand new 4777C 650 CFM 4150. Sent to Holley tech services for a replacement yesterday (was surprised they listened to my troubleshooting experiments and agreed!).
Hope to get this thing running just right, not bad now but not ideal either.
