Brent I know what your saying and as a professional engine builder you have to push the bar up a bit. I know many of us on this forum are back yarders and we do not have the luxury of the high end stuff. I have built quite a few engines with parts that people said were junk and would not last. Most are still running some are not! But then again I bet Jack Roush is in same boat! Most would agree that a stock rod will take 500 hp with proper setup? 600hp well then your on borrowed time? I'm willing. To bet alot of people including engine builders such as yourself would agree to the eagle & rpm being significantly tougher than stock?if this is so wouldn't either one be a good choice ? My choice would be who ever offers the most competitive price Sometimes overkill is just that?Does a weekend warrior or a limited bracket car require Carrillo rods?jJust some thoughts!
