In response to a post here a couple of years ago by Dan Jones, I contacted
in Roseville Michigan. Randy does still sell a Harland Sharp fabricated rocker arm that mounts on a 5/16" threaded pedestal. The rocker has an adjustable pushrod seat that provide +/-.040 of adjustment to help avoid shimming and ease rocker installation.
I have a 351C 4V, quench head, virgin 5/16 pedestals, hydraulic cam/lifters, 264 duration, .525 lift at valve, open seat pressure at 285#. I will be driving it 10k a year, whatever the price of gas. Will never see the strip or probably more than 5500 RPM.
I was curious if anyone had put some miles on these?
As there has also been a lot of discussion regarding the viability of the 5/16 bolt, run them for a year and compare them to a spare bolt via a stress test to see how they are doing.
