George, I've never run anything but stock crank / stock rods. I cant bust 'em....touch wood. 2V iron that you can find at the tip.
My car runs 10's and there's nothin better than whipping holdens/chevs with stock junk for a fraction of the budget.

That said, more cubes, more head, more revs is always good.
