The heads were new from CHI and I believe setup at the factory with the springs and valves. They were ordered through MME as "assembled with components to match cam" as the invoice shows. The shop that could't finish was just slow. The engine came to them in the back of a truck. The car had a Cleveland in it when I drove it to the shop. The shop was to switch engines, and had issues with various things. Stuff like getting the correct pulleys, header clearance around the powersteering box, stuff like that. They had me bring my car home with the new engine so they could get some other customers in that they had been putting off. 4 mons later, I still couldn't be fit back into their schedule, so I went to another shop.
