I sure have enjoyed your posts on here George. I hope you don't go anywhere. It is not often that someone is willing to explain some technical aspects that escape the casual observer. Many is the lunch break I have spent reading some of your technical and real-world experiences. In fact, the one on the "amazing 351 Cleveland" is what got me to want to drag my mustang out of storage. I never knew all those things about it's development.
I realize that not everyone shares the same viewpoint, that's why it's called a forum. Viewpoints are for sharing. Becoming a member and sharing information doesn't necessarily mean that's the only one that's right for you. I can appreciate Dan's comments to the OP as well. Love technical information like that. It's what someone can use to make informed decisions for choices that fit THEM and THEIR particular build or problem. When someone is looking for information, then here is the place. If you don't agree with either one or the other, fine. No one says you have to use this or that particular head or cam or whatever. Geez.
I didn't care for the critique either. Didn't see the need or relevance for certain comments in it. Again, I realize I'm new here so my opinion carries no weight but sorry, but it just seemed to me as an attack of sorts. Why not just give your viewpoint and let it go at that?
When you have a literal treasure trove of information from so many real-world sources -dynos, flow benches, time slips, and years of experience with hands on builds, like this place is, it's such a shame when the bickering starts.
After a while it gets to where you kinda don't care to log on and then one more little thing that adds a little fun to life is gone. It's a shame. Sure don't want that to happen here. Between work, problems, and the mortgage, life has so few chances for something enjoyable nowadays.
Hope you hang around.
