160 is not cold unless he is aiming for gas milage!Which I doubt!I have seen more rings wear out from + 200 degrees than from 160?Just warm it up at idle so oil gets some heat and go.For what its worth we have big diesels that run at 170 degrees constantly and have 11000+ hrs on them.
