Response to re what heads would you use for racing

Craig,
You are not hijacking my thread, I appreciate the input.
Also to Greg and everyone else, thanks.
What cubes do you run Greg?

I was leaning more to the Aussie heads for several reasons.
Firstly, I would like to support home grown.

Also I would like to keep my current pipes, and maybe my current tunnel ram.

Thirdly, I would assume if I went the C3 route, I would be getting 10 year heads at best, would have to hunt down a sheet metal intake, change rockers, covers and exhaust.
If I go the other way I can still use my brand new rockers and valves I just fitted after a recent cam pin failure.

I did not consider the D3 or blue thunder heads as I assume they would cost big bucks.
Scott at CHI has told me that they soon will have a tunnel ram to suit the 3V 225, that's why I was leaning towards them.

I am not out to make 800hp, low 700 will be fine as I only run a narrow A/EA style tyre and don't want to have traction issues on marginal tracks.
If I can get into the high 7's I will be happy.( 8.10 now)

One question I would ask, can Yates style T&D rockers fit any other heads?
I have few sets of 14-1298 intake and 14-1296 exh rockers.
They have a 1.650 shaft and .080" offset.
By any chance will they fit a CHI, SCM or AFD head?

Thanks
