I know there have been many posts/inquiries how to convert to a serpentine setup. thought I would summarize mine in case anyone is interested. This is not my findings, but a result of quite a few searches on this forum. But it worked out really well, so thanks to all that have shared their info in the past.
march performance 2004 water pump pulley
march pulley set 1000-8, use the alternator pulley and crank pulley, discard the waterpump pulley.
can't be used with power steering or AC
this setup would work with a stock damper. I have an aftermarket damper (ATI I think), so originally I had to buy a damper spacer, about 3/8", to make everything line up. bought it from MME, not sure who else sells them.
If you are looking to pick parts at the bone yard, just look up what applications these parts are good for on Summit or whoever sells them.
very clean looking, very happy with the setup. won't be throwing any more v-belts! thanks to all who had posted their info in the past, it was your info I dug up.
As a side note, I had posted in the past about a horrible rhythmic vibration (felt in the seat of my pants) I have been fighting for quite some time, got a lot of good suggestions. Rebuild my rear end, had driveshaft checked twice, tried different tires, axles, checked pinion angle, everything. Literally made the car undriveable. Was a bad alternator!!! Don't ask me how an alternator could have caused such a horrible vibration, but glad I finally found it. $28 fix, wish I would have found it sooner!
