There were other formats that received the benefits of new technology.

1994 to 1996

The last version of the 4.9-liter six, before it was discontinued, got another slight bump in output to 150 horsepower at 3,400 rpm and a slightly lower torque output of 260 foot-pounds at 2,000 rpm. This was the last inline six-cylinder engine to power a Ford vehicle in North America.
