Balance Pipe Question

A couple years back, I remember reading about a balance pipe that was supposely better than an X pipe and H pipe. Kinda combined the two designs. I see MAC makes a Pro Chamber, but that wasn't that name of it. I thought it was something box. Both pipes went into a rectangular shaped box and both exited out the other side. Was doing some searching on it but can't seem to find any info on it. Does anyone remember anything like it or know of another product like it?

Yes, that is it. But, after reading the article, it sounds like there can be one big box, (size of one cylinder per bank x 2) or there can be two boxes (each one the size of one cylinder) and then connected by a 2.5" or 3" pipe. That is how its understood, correct? I think I'm going to try and fab up one big box. 408 / 8 = 51 cubic inches times 2 = 102 cubic inches and then it needs to be 8-10 times that big. So that means the box would need to be 816-1020 cubic inches. So, I could make a box that is like 10" x 25" x 4" which would equal 1000 cubes. Hopefully someone else pipes in on this.

one big box

sounds much simpler and easier to package (and calculate). I am curious how this would sound..since the X and H have such distinctive tones. I prefer the sound of the X personally. Yours sounded great. I assume the box will have to be offset to either side of the drive shaft? Where would you exit the tail pipes?
