I have not posted for some time but i never stop reading , I need your opinion on cam choice for a new combination i am working on to be installed in a xbgt coupe here are the specs
393 cube .030 over, aussie 2v oc heads, std rockers, unported reco heads, 10.3:1 comp,
bottom end ballanced new std oil pump & timing gear set. intake will probably be performer or air gap. Bosch electronis regraphed dizzy,Try y extractors & a 2.5 in twin exhaust, Top loader with 3.25 lsd diff also. This car is a weekend toy & not raced but fun on the streets, so i am after a hydraulic flat tappet cam to complement the hardware. after researching this site i am leaning towards crane 284 H12 as i doublt this engine will see 6000rpm & souns like some fun down lower?
So let me know what you think !

thanks for your comments,
Its a aussie ford falcon xbgt coupe ( mad max )
the pipes are 1 7/8" primaries down to a 2.5" collector
& made for right hand drive cars not LHD
Just building a new engine to look std with some torque!
I have to agree with "the other Pete" that car is sweeeet. I have a GS sedan painted the same colour Apollo blue with siver outs and I know I biased but it's the best colour scheme you can have for an XB and being a coupe just makes it so much better, sorry to be so off topic but love that car Hope you get some good opinions re cam.
There were some nice colours on the Aussie Fords in the 70s. That XB looks fantastic. I'm partial to pine-n-lime on the XCs, but I may be biased too. I don't think I've ever seen another pine-n-lime XC Fairmont wagon with the GS rallypak blackouts
