Started work on the used parts 357 bogger engine! The only thing new is h-beam rods, oil pump, windage tray and gaskets. Rotating assembly is being balanced right now and rods and pistons being fitted. The pistons are kb177 and are in Excellant shape from old 408. The cam is solid .620 lift and 255 266 at.050. On a 108. Heads are home ported 4v cc and flow 322 intake and just crack 200 on exh. The intake will be my Holley strip dommy and I'll test both my hp 830 annular and the 1050. Headers are Hooker 2" primaries and 4" collector. Just cleaning out old parts and see what this junk yard dog will do and how long it holds together. We'll see how she does might surprise me?

Yes I had it in a 400 block but it cracked a cylinder? So Im using all the parts and sticking it in c-motor.The old 408 made 551 at 6300 with this stuff any guess on 357?Desktop dyno says 520 with 1050 and 516 with 830 annular?we'll see!Its going into 2800lb mud buggy.

will it let you punch in your specs putting the cam in at 104 instead of 108? Ive never played with desktop dyno. Just curious.
