My mother used to make "normal" kugelis, and some in casings. It was made from the same batch of potatoes. Your recipe is the same one I use, although I've been toying with the idea of adding some spices, like dried dill, parsley, you get the idea. I also saw a sweet version of a potato pudding that would probably taste fantastic with apple sauce... now I'm getting hungry!
