The Canine Society members will be helping with registration and various tasks in Portlands Largest 5k Fun Run. ~ 15 Volunteers Needed~
Join an estimated 3,000 runners for the 31st Anniversary of the Starlight Run, a 5k (3.1 mile) run that travels the Portland Rose Festivals Starlight Parade route in front of more than 150,000 spectators. In the last 30 years, more than 90,000 runners have covered more than 315,000 miles of fun in this official Portland Rose Festival event!
Coming Soon! New Event Area for the AAPBA located at the Dog Zone at 602-2 California Way Longview, WA 98632 The Canine Society will be holding its next meeting on June 13th at the Dog Zone. Equipment will be moved soon and we will need help preparing the field and spruce up the area, we are seeking donations that include Decorative Flags, canopies and picnic tables. This event park is going to be as successful as WE make it! We are planning a couple of shows this summer, more talks about this at the next meeting.
The AAPBA will be assisting with the construction of the fencing at the Longview Dog Park and will also be donating privacy fencing to cover the entrance to the park.
Weight Pull needs new angle iron to get it ready for upcoming events if anyone would like to donate time or money please call John at 360-274-4209.
