Response to Lake Cherokee board considering ban on Pit Bulls - cross post

Jodi lives in Fairbanks Al. NOW they are banding all Pit Bulls off the Army Base there. Now the Humane Society is over whelmed with our breed. The owners are just taking them there with no regreats. I am sure they hate it but to the owners living on the Base they have no other cource to take.
Jodi had a call, as she microchiped her one litter and the owner did not call her BUT the Shelter called her and she got her pup (over a year old) back. Plus she has rescued a few Pits that the owner was getting rid of. She contacted the breeder down in Oregon and she will be sending the dogs back to them. Hey even in Alaska we have people that care.
Just me and the dogs
