      The AAPBA registry will from this time forward recognize only the new name of this breed as AMERICAN TERRIER.

      Our office has received numerous emails asking why the name was not changed to Bully Breed, the problem with that - is that it refers to many types of pure and mix bred dogs and has really nothing to do with the rightful name American Terrier.

      The name American Terrier will be the only name issued by the AAPBA.

      Thank you to our supporters in this change and Thank you to those who sent in your e-mails with your comments.
