New Adventures of Fidget Da Bat!

Hey, you'll never believe this but they had a GMD comic in "Disney Adventures". Starring Olivia and Fidget, no less!
In the comic, a strange gilled mouse dubbed the "Sea Beast" is discovered and aired at the carnvel. Basil is unisterested, dissmissing the case as 'silly'. Olivia catches the flyer that Basil dropps and considers it while Dr. Dawson is arguing with Basil that 'such a mouse could exist'. She decides the only way to form an opinion about it is to see the 'sea beast' for herself. Calling Figdet, the two ride Toby to the carnval.
Livvie asks Fidget if he thinks the beast is real and the bat replieles that "I used to work at the carny myself, Livvy! Nothing's real but the caramel apples!" When Olivia says that some of the acts must be real, Fidget says he's got a bridge in London he can sell her, and explains the trick behind the Fire Eater (chemcials on breath), the Bearded Lady (glue), and the Floating Man (strings). (He looks fairly proud of knowing this)
Stopping in front of a large tank, the 'sea beast' groals at the pair as Fidget declares "Now THAT'S a SIDESHOW act!" Staring at in the mouse's eyes, Olivia seems unsure and answers if he says so. Two mice remark beside the tank that the creature's been a bad mood since they caught him. The beast smashs through the glass, and Fidget covers Olivia from harm. Beast grabs Fidget and climbs a tent growling and holding Fidget up ("Is this another stunt for the papers, bubby? Cuz you better PAY me if it is!"). Thinking fast, Olivia grabbs the bucket of fish-guts the mice were planning to feed the creature with and it's attention. The beast flings Fidget over his shoulder and chases the mousling across the fair to the dock, where Olivia throws the guts into the sea. The beast jumps in after the treat and swims away. She watches him swim away into the night. Figdet (having flown or otherwise saved himself) and Olivia then munch on caramel apples in the last panel where our bat remarks that the sea beast "better not show up again if he knows what's good for him!" while Livvy smiles and says "I'm sure he won't be back...he's- home."
Also, it appears there'll be more comics of these two super-slethes in future Disney Adventures!

Well, Alice, I'm sorry to tell you this, but considering it's been about half a year since that issue came out and you apparently weren't yet aware of this bad news at the time, I might as well have to say it since no one else did (though I assume you are aware of it by now, in which case you can probably ignore this message):
That issue of Disney Adventures was the final issue. We won't get to see any new adventures of Olivia and Fidget, because the magazine isn't being published anymore. It's sad but true.

Does anyone know if Fidget has a name? Yes, I know he's called Fidget, but that sounds like more of a nickname he got pegged with... a birth name is more along the lines of what I'm looking for.

Hello, Have you ever heard of Fanny Fidget? I have some positive film sequences (24) of this cartoon character which was created before in 1935 by my Grandfather Earnest Andersson of Hollywood, California. They are in a small folder received for copyrights. The info with these is: "Title: Fanny Fidget: She Knows All Script" by Joe Cuningham. Animation by Ken McLellan, Author of the motion picture. Bill Nolan of the United States." My Mother included a note that she did the annimation painting for this movie that her Father made. (She died in 1980.)We also have a photographed signed by Bill Nolan, a photo that Earnest took of him, in which he made a small line drawing of Mickey Mouse... so he also worked in animation for Disney. My Grandfather was also a friend of Disney. We have a small drawing Disney did during a luncheon, but it's not signed.

Im telling you..Vincent price is the greatest voice dude...I mean..Come on..No one can replace him..Besides..If anyone tried to replace him..They'd suck..Big time. I stand on my statement people..Besides..Vincent price was perfect voicing Ratigan..And you all know it!!!!!!.

Ya..Like I said before,No-one can replace Vincent Price.He was the king of horror..I mean come on do you really think some new comer for the voice of Ratigan could really think they can make a new voice for him. Nope don't think so..Besides they'd have to be desprate in order to think they could replace him.

Vincent Price is the king of horror..She can't replace him. I mean come on, This is Vincent Price people!. Born in 1911 in missouri, He was a writer,Gourmai chef,Voice actor, He was on T.V shows that he preformed on, He was introduced in alot of T.V talk shows. No-one can replace him period. Plus I doubt the charecter will be the same at all with a female voice actor voicing Professor Ratigan. Fidget it was ok..But with Ratigan?, No way. Just let the charecter rest with his voice as Vincent Price..Besides Ratigan was the last charecter he ever did. And it was his favorite!!!, Let it rest and let the other disney people ruine there own other movies.

Hmmm...Ya changing the accent will so work..mmmhmm. Man some of you can be so..Im not even going to say it, Im am not going to stoop to the level. Anyway..I've kinda gotten..Less involved with Ratigan and the great mouse detective and have moved on to something much more..Interesting. If your wondering it's A nightmare on elm street, I've decided that Freddy is much more evil then Ratigan so..Do as you wish. But I still think Vincent Price can't be replaced by ego morons called by some unfortunate human being. Anyway..I'll let you or..The rest think about this while I'll laugh at your positivity, Anyway bye bye and have a good day.

RATIGAN..RATIGAN..RATIGAN..Man I never get tired of that name..Helloooooooooooo..The dude is totally cool..I love the name as well..He was voiced by vincent price man..He IS SOOOOO COOL..Though I keep wondering why he killed his family..? I totally LOVE the guy..He has a charming smile..Good dance moves..And one debonaire wardrobe..Though he thinks allot of himself..And he did visit many a prostitut..But even though he's done all that..I still like the guy.
