I haven't met a mean Friesian yet. I am in the process of buying a 2 year old stallion that is so kind and gentle and HUGE. I went to the Sacramento horse Expo last weekend and got a lot of exposure to Friesians, and of all the breeds there they were the most calm. I have 5 horses (not Friesian) right now and I train and teach riding. I have lots of experience with all types of breeds and truely have fallen in love with the Friesian. I hope you can find someone who is knowledgable about Friesians so they can show you what they are really about. Good Luck
