Aren't tiny pores a drag?? Everyone always says how lucky I am but then I have to remind them that tiny pores get clogged very easily! Sigh. Can't have it all, I guess!

As far as a streamlined product selection, it can be done! The trick is finding what works right for you. I get the impression that you have little pores with occasional comedonal-type acne (mine as well) but rarely sensitive (lucky you!!).

I like Clarins products. I have never had any problem with them and I think they are 10x better that Clinique. I used to use Clinique when I was 13 and I think it is wonderful for teens. But I feel that you need to change your skincare products to reflect your current skin -- as skin changes as you age.

I would try samples of the Clarins producs that may be right for your skin type. I used the cleansing milk with alpine herbs and the toning lotion for dry/normal skin. I never had a problem with either. As for moisture and anti-wrinkle -- here is where the product selection gets more tricky. A lot of products that claim to be "non-comedogenic" aren't necesarily so. For me, I always try new products on my nose because that is where it is easiest to tell if it clogs or not. Some of the Clarins products did clog me. I don't believe the line-prevention skin products clogged, but they were irritating to my cheeks so I didn't purchase them. It may be worth it for you to try these -- especially since there are samples galore to try first!

As for the Sheseido line, so far so good! The cleansing water cost about $16US-$19US. The cotton pads that I use with it (which, by the way, are absolutely amazingly soft!!!) are about $6US. The Bio-performance Intensive Clarifying Essence is about $60US for 40ml. The Advance Super Revitalizer is about $77US for 50ml. They are somewhat pricy which is why I would recommend samples before you even consider purchasing them. But, this is US price -- if you live elsewhere it may be alot cheaper!

I have used Neutrogena's Skin Clearing Moisturizer with great success for clearing out any blocked pores I get with new products I am testing. It contains 2% salicylic acid which is great for unblocking pores. This may be an ingredient you should look for to help if you get into any pore-problems.

I have some samples of Nuxe that I have only used once -- makeup remover milk, toner with flowers, the huile prodigieuse, and the creme fraiche. They were somewhat drying on my skin -- I thought I would leave them to play with in the summer months. I will probably not re-purchase them as I don't believe they do anything for wrinkle-prevention so what is the point??
