You'll probably get the most benefit by supplementing your diet with essential fats. Try looking in a health food store for a blend of Omega 3 & Omega 6 oils (they'll be in the refrigerator). I've heard that the best ratio is 2 parts Omega 3 to 1 part Omega 6. For more info, go to www.udoerasmus.com or use a search engine to look up "essential fats" & find out all the MANY benefits it can bring to your whole body.
Vitamin A is helpful for the skin, too.
One thing I know is that eating sugar ruins your skin. It promotes premature wrinkling & depletes the body of nutrients that could be used to build healthy skin (and hair).
All the best!
