Regarding the Royal Toilet Paper : My Great-great-grand Aunt, Katharina, Tsar of Russia, had the same idea. But her lackeys sold single sheets with her face and the Imperial Regalia on them, to everybody in Russia for a few kopeks, to pin on the walls of their mud huts or villas. So she was always out of toilet paper and had to use the finger method alone.
