First, barbecue the bread , to make toast.
Next , dice or break the toast into handy bite-sized pieces.
Get a large dish for soaking the toast pieces , and add the liquid for soaking... in this case we have red wine , or Navy Rum. ( I'll try both... 3 parts wine to 1 part rum). test for flavour.
Adjust quannities as needed... ( wants more rum).
