Do you know where the anchovies are, Fang? Byron has writer's remorse, and his elbow is sore too. Reinhard's mother thinks Byron is THE Lord Byron and now Byron doesn't know what to do. I'm making a drink for him. I hope it makes him feel better. I found the recipe in the Captain's trunk.

RECIPE FOR WRITER'S REMORSE
1 tin of anchovies
2 bottles of beer
4 ounces tomato juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup chopped scallions
dash of Tabasco and pepper

I think that might actually be a hangover cure !
Has Byron been bending the elbow with the captain ?
( I'm not sure why , but too much elbow bending seems to give humans headaches and hangovers)

Do you really think so, Fang? I thought hangover recipes always have "hair of the biting dog" in the ingredients. Anchovies can't bite, don't have hair, and they aren't dogs either. Well, it doesn't matter. Byron seemed to like it and wants more. Now I'm making some for Reinhard too. I just heard his elbow is sore. Maybe I should make some extra for the Captain. Sore elbows could be something going around.

PS. Um, I think I need a 20 gallon vat for this, Fang. Will you help me carry it?

and be careful not to spill any on the carpet... ( it might dissolve it !)

Fang and the cats are all fast asleep and snoring on the floor. I can't wake them. There's a big pot of something here too. Maybe I'll try a little just to taste it.

Oh my. This is really good. Slurp. Slurp. Maybe a little nap right here on the carpet would be nice. I think I'll join them for a little while.

Coming back from cleaning my exhaust pipes (not directly mine, but those of my rocket), I stumbled over some of our space ship's pets. First I thought, that the captain (as usual)was snoring on the floor into his next hangover, but no ! Piaf, Squeaky, Fang and Ducky !
The pot nearby gave delicious smells, but the Danish Chef warned me immediately : He is missing all of his anchovies and most of his sardines. As I am allergic against fish, I did not even take a sip from this brew.
But who will bring our dear friends back into life ?
Please help !

To revive Piaf, Squeaky, Ducky and Fang I will send Mrs. Grundy. In rehearsal she delivered her next aria so screechy, that her singing would bring back even the oldest Pharao from his tomb. I hope it will work for our friends too.

Far better , I think to let the pets sleep it off!

But Captain , I want to protest the presence of the pets in the kitchen !
It is bad for ships morale when they can come to kitchen and prepare their own food and drinks ..... AND COOK IT BETTER THAN I CAN !

After all , how would you like it if Fang could navigate us better than you do ?
