[img][/img]Time to start digging in to this computer and see what makes it tick.
hmmmm.... think I see the problem already.

The computer was given an invalid course and destination, but is not permitted to discuss it. So it doesn't really know where we are going either, but is unable to saay so !

This looks like a challenge for some Sushi-Origami reprograming ![img][/img]

Go on, Casey !

As our human crew fails to properly program the computer, we pets must take over.
But please avoid any Kamikaze-Harakiri instructions, or we might end up right in the Klingon High Command Comet.
Maybe little Battie might help you with direction programming, as bats have an inbuilt ultrawave (or is it microwave?) direction finder.

I asked Sady for our coordinates this morning, Gilbert. She muttered something inaudible and didn't tell me anything. Doesn't she know how to speak to her betters? She obviously needs discipline.

And, Gilbert, I'm positive she had a bat in her pocket. I could hear the bat humming. Has she lost her mind as well as her voice? Bats are known pests and if I see it, it will rue the day. I think you should go straight to the Captain and demand to know where we are. Go right now before he has a chance to get any drunker.

Where are we, and where are we going ?

I'm glad you asked, Mrs Grundy !
Of course, a lady of your refined tastess and superior upbringing will have some appreciation of the comolexities of keeping a space ship on course when travelling at several times the speed of light.
I want you to know that I appreciate your interest, and I want to encourage you to ask for any information you need.
We have a uniquely trained member of the crew about to start work on the navigation computer ( which has had some problems), and I hear that he is already making progress.

Wow ! All sorts of goodies here !

I'm gonna enjoy getting my teeth into this job.
Burrowing into this computer's innards might even be fun !
Hey Fang ! .... I just found a pile of bones in here ! Looks as though a Klingon got in here and the computer electrocuted him !!!
