Stampeding mushrooms are to be clobbered flat by using a frying pan of at least 3 ft. diameter (91.5 cm).
To make them edible cut the mushrooms into slices and soak in Rum for 24 hours. Then for each kilo (2 pounds plus 10%)of mushrooms heat 3 cups of cod liver oil, and fry the mushrooms until their color turns to midnight blue.
A very delicious meal, but try it on the Grumblers first - because my grandmother made a footnote : If served to a guest, who owes you money, make sure, that he settles his debt before serving.
