Anyway, I don't think you'll have too much of a problem stocking your site's larder with starters (that KINDA rhymed...). The IFF Sweeps are about to end, and maybe you could contact authors whom you might think to be interested in letting you take their starters should they not get voted in.
A word of warning, though-- they could just very well die a natural death if nobody signs up. =p
Here's an idea-- hold a SECONDARY sweeps! How about that, huh? Entries could include those that couldn't make it in the IFF Sweeps and maybe even some new submissions. :3
