One thing you might want to think about is knowing about exactly how many fics you want to start with. Starting with fifteen of the bahstids would leave fourteen of them unwritten, most assuredly.
Do you have any fics lined up already?
Like everyone else has said, you need to be sure you want to do this. If you start up, and lose interest, that's bad form.
