This review will be for black dub's last FAJ chapter. I don't know if he wants a review... BUT TOO BAD. He gets one anyway!
But are you short on time, and don't want to listen to my long-winded self? Then here is the thing. This is brilliant stuff. Entertaining straight through to the end. Original and funny!
Now, the specifics. I love things like Judge Joe Higashi. I love seeing characters existing in strange new ways. And your lawyers... just perfect ^_^
Then, I loved what you did to VU. Grimm played his part brilliantly, and it seems so blissfully episodic to have this sort of thing going on, sort of like "Next week on FAJ, Mr. Grimm tortures the employees of VU!". Works great. LOVE IT!
But how can I mention this chapter without mentioning Battler Man and the Smoker? What a great take on the first Batman movie this was. All of the Smokers scenes, as he went around town and built up for the end of the chapter, were great. Of course, I'm a big JoJo fan too, so introducing Guido Mista brought another smile to my face.
The other short bits, like the Belmont News and various big-breasted game gals getting punked were just as priceless. Thanks a bunch. Belmont news still makes me smile now, and I hope we get to see more of it in the future ^^
So then, the only thing that didn't get me going? F8Ball. That'd be because I think its based on Xenogears, and I never finished that game, and I don't remember the part I did play through. Even still, when he told the Smoker "I wrote that when I did kill gods." and the Smoker added "And when I called you ten minutes ago you still did that?"... hehehe.... oooh I do so enjoy that kinda thing.
