While I know Kyo Misfire is unkilling some of them, I say fine. Let them die. Not only do a lot of jokes get old (ie. Hyo) but there are times when authors just mail it in by writing a chapter that is nothing but old running gags. Kim smiles, Hyo comes back from the dead, Kyo dies, Hyo dies, D! screams something, Yamazaki curses, Billy says "naff", Terry says "GEEEEESE!", rinse, repeat, author's notes.
Yes, even in RECBT jokes can be beaten into the ground so much that they lose their humor. Then again, you are the person who thinks "THE DREAMCAST IS DEAD!" times 10000 = Funny.
