When I read the first few responses of this thread, I was dreading the eventual fanboy-flaming, but I was pleasantly surprised that wasn't the case. ^^;;;
Anyway, I have to disagree on your observation/opinion that the present RECBT has become more manageable. The current plotline requires too much backstory knowledge that was in the past 100-plus chapters. This sort-of defeats the purpose of restarting the mess that we call a story, which is to make RECBT accessible to new writers. On the other and, the plot by itself is a lot more manageable now that it was before the Great Big Reset Of Kim.
I have to wonder, is RECBT evolving beyond its chibi-impro roots, or is merely mutating the insanity in a more insidious form?
On a more specific note, on the issue of RECBT being FAJ and vice-versa, I would like future authors to re/define certain characters' personalities to make them distinct from each other in the different impros that they appear in.
Case in point, Rock Howard. As it stands right now, RECBT-Rock has little to make him indistinguishable from FAJ-Rock, when they should be different characters, by attitude and characterization, entirely.
There are other characters I take issue to, but this is what sticks out for me. Maybe I could be wrong, but that's how I see it right now. YMMV.
Ah, well, maybe I should sign up again, and see how many I would end up pissing off this time...
