Ogo (may I call you ogo?), you wrote a very good chapter. not especially long, or all that funny, but it made for some damn fine plotting.
the good
+ rock vs jae: the conclusion. a very nice epilogue to the first major overplot of the series, and an obvious set-up for later rematches. and solid prof that the hero is strengthened by those around him.
+ Daniel J. he came across as a truly viable threat, even though he did nothing in this chapter. while Garuda is once again shown to be a nigh-unstoppable supernatural predator. Damn good thing they'll never team up, or this fic would be titled "all hail blackheart."
+ upcoming 3 way between chang, garuda and vanilla? you just made my day...why are you all staring at me like that, this should be a cool fight!
the vikings came out of nowhere and their debate with the pirates is cool. hey zeroin, what's the zombie quotient of your chapter?
but yeah. a very good chapter.
