Here's the thing: during both of my bouts with unemployment, conventional advice (i.e. job fairs, apply to websites, what to (not) put on a resume) was about as useful as... well... a steaming pile of dog flop.

My job with Host2Own (Dec 2001 - March 2002) I got because Calculus, who worked there, said nice things about me.

This job, a job through TEKSystems, I got because one decent headhunter and one slimier-than-a-year's-supply-of-lukewarm-snot headhunter wanted a commission. ^_^;

Tell you what, though... I'll extend the same offer to you that I did to Calculus. Send me your resume, and if I can find a decent job in the Omaha area for you, you can crash at my place.
