Know how Windows tend to save the adresses of visited pages, so you can go back in case you forgot to make a bookmark? (And also so your boss/wife/parents can spy on you and find out about all the sordid things you do?)
Well, now your comp has stopped doing so. No idea why, but, if you erase those saved adress files, used links should darken properly. Of course, it'll also mean all darkened links will be initially undarkened, but that's a side effect. Should help.
