Some would claim that the first watch to the moon wasn't actually the moonwatch. If you see what i mean.
NASA were using the speedmaster long before 69 and it was only very shortly before 69 that omega brought out their new version with new movement.
If I was taking a watch to the moon I'd probably trust the one I'd been using for a while that was tried and tested and not the new model.
So, maybe your 67 is more like the first watch on the moon than the one Omega would have you believe.
