According to the manager of the "authorized" Omega Service Center in San Francisco, where the watch recently underwent a complete overhaul, there is no serial number on the c. 861 ETA movement. There is a number on the case, that being 14502 2-69ST. I purchased this watch new in July or August 1970, upon my return from service in Vietnam. It was a gift for my father on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary. When my father died in 1983, I got it back...and shall never part with it. Anyone have an idea where the S/N may be located?
