The following are oil filter contributions made to this site from June of 2004.

I can personally attest to the WIX and the FRAM PH7s.. and I feel the others are from 'reliable' contributors... compare them for yourself firat though.

Remote systems use Fram PH 8As and PF16s

Some folks SWEAR by the WIX and the ACs, but use the Frams when they are not available.

Fram PH7s are probably the most easily found but are still not carried by everyone.  I usually wait for a sale at Kragen or Pep Boys and buy a handful for 2.99.
