Do you have "Use WYSIWYG Editor" selected in your N54 account options?
That is the first thing I can think of that would make a difference whether you are logged in.
If you are not logged in you get a plain text editor, if you are logged in and WYSIWYG is selected in your account options you get that editor instead, and it is very possible then that your mobile os/browser is not compatible.
If this is the case you could just turn WYSIWYG off in your account preferences...
