Push Button start

I saw a post awhile back that someone had installed a push button start in the dash.

My X had a remote push start also that was installed when a mechanic was having trouble with the famous starter.

New starter still did not work, but he had a remote hooked up so he could start it, well, remotely.

I had him install the remote between my seats by my elbow.

I turn the key, push the button, and I have not had a starter problem in 3 years.

Now, my question is this....can I hook up this starter remote to an extra existing push button in the dash? Do those switches have enough ooooph to handle the start?
