Response to On the shelf

In this part of Oregon, you say "metric?" and they reply "Met him? Sure, I had a beer with Rick yesterday!"

I've called the local fastener supply, hardware stores, and auto parts stores. Not only do none of them have any metric fittings, nobody could suggest a place that did.

It's amazing the common stuff I've had to mail order, and we're not that small of a town! I think the trucks stop in Medford, then they don't stop again until they get to Portland.

Anyone in the Eugene/Springfield area that knows a place that actually has M14x1.5 T's and such? Please, no guessing - my dialing finger is sore.
